The Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II was the final iteration of the Lancia Delta Integrale Evolution, a race-car for the street built so Lancia could go racing in the World Rally Championship. The Evo II came out at a time when Lancia was on the ropes, reeling from a megabuck recall in Britain concerning Lancia’s passenger cars and their ability to rust into oblivion as owners watched. People have been using four wheel drive to get around the rugged backyard of America in one form or another since 1903. There’s been an untold number of books and videos on the subject, and now they even make awesome high dollar documentaries about off road racing–does the film ‘Dust to Glory’ ring a bell? If it doesn’t, I can tell you that it’s a documentary about one of the most grueling and crazy off road races the world has ever seen, the Baja 1000.

Despite all the available media, and training out there for folks that want to hit the trails with success, I can’t help but be annoyed by the perpetual insanity that I see on a daily basis via YouTube and other venues. People just don’t understand what it takes.

The Palatov dp4 Wants To Kill You

As a guy, the term “dp” conjures up some strong images, and none of them are suitable for a non-adult themed website. It’s strangely fitting that Palatov Motorsports would call their latest creation the dp4, because you will feel violated after driving this thing at speed.

The dp4 is Satan’s own shifter kart, designed for track day hoonage, hillclimbs and evading anything not propelled by a rocket motor. If you need to justify the purchase to you better half, just tell her it’s eligible to race in the SCCA’s D Spec Racer category; that will legitimize it.
